Thank you very much for the information.
I am a professional therapist and thank you for the time of research and writing when I find a good article that really is useful.
I also write articles about massage and I understand that it is annoying that people read an article and not stop to thank.

Matt,

I saw that you had a workshop about the physics of yoga and I am interested in how it went, the material that you covered, and the interest that you have in such matters. I have a degree in physics and have been teaching since 2003 and have been working on some material myself. From what I taught it seems that this is an avenue to empower people with physics rather than paralyzing their minds or their bodies.

Please be free to email me at SLandsee@yahoo.com

Hello, I just moved to Cedar Park from Maui Hawaii, and back home I was very into freediving and spearfishing, and since that is pretty much non-existent here I still want to work on my breath control. I've been told that many freedivers practice pranayama yoga to strengthen their breath. Do you offer such classes as this?

Awesome analogy. It's funny--just the other day I was driving, listening to jazz, and thinking it'd be so fun to teach a yoga class with jazz playing in the background. I, too, was thinking of how similar they are and how it'd be fun to introduce a flow, and then have students go through the flow several times, "scatting," any way they'd like. This way, our class would, essentially, be a band--one love-filled group, allowing our voices to play. :) Thanks for being part of the synchronicity in my world. Namaste!
